  • Clubhaus Staff

    • Stuart Walker, Owner

      Stuart Walker began his career in Health Club management over 25 years ago as the Assistant Manager and General Manager of Arkansas' largest health clubs. His dream to open his own fitness center was realized in 2009 with the opening of Clubhaus Fitness, located on Dickson Street in the heart of downtown Fayetteville. The vision was simple, to create a high-end fitness center with top of the line equipment and the amenities of a large gym but personalized service to members. Stuart resides in Fayetteville with his wife Missi and their three children.

    • Loyd Walker, Owner

      Loyd Walker retired as President of Rector Phillips Morse, Inc. and joined Stuart as his partner in Clubhaus Fitness Centers, Inc. Loyd's financial and business background is beyond measure and he oversees the companies financials and progress. Loyd makes his office at the Little Rock location, where he resides with his wife Trudy. He has four children and seven grandchildren.

    • Jim Goza, Communications Director, Personal Trainer Clubhaus Fayetteville

      Jim Goza is an award-winning actor, Personal Trainer and Communications Director for Clubhaus, Fayetteville. Being a professional actor requires huge demands of the actor's instrument. I got into physical fitness to keep my instrument in top shape, but I soon found myself falling in love with training and exercise. This new love led me to get my Personal Training certification and I found myself much happier helping clients realize their long-held goals than being on stage. I'm so happy to call Clubhaus Fitness Fayetteville my gym!

    • Rush Cornwell, General Manager, Clubhaus Little Rock

      Rush Cornwell grew up in Maumelle, Arkansas and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Education. After working in the education field teaching Social Studies, Rush realized how much he enjoyed the fitness industry and joined Clubhaus Fitness in Fayetteville in 2009. He was quickly promoted to General Manager and then selected to manage the new location in Little Rock. Rush lives in Conway with his wife Missy and when he is not working or working out, he enjoys woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.

    • BrickHaus

      Using Rowers, kettlebells, TRX bands, slam balls, sand bags, heavy ropes, and bodyweight exercises, this class will focus on toning and cardio for the entire body.

    • Pilates Revolution

      Formerly Powerhaus Pilates: Using our popular Pilates Reformers, TRX bands, and yoga techniques, this class will focus on your abs while targeting the entire body with cardio intervals.

    • The Ride

      It's great for all different levels. It's a group exercise class performed on stationary bikes. During the class, the instructor simulates hill-climbing, sprints, and races. It is truly a fantastic cardiovascular workout.

    • Cardio Barre

      Cardio Barre is a unique class that combines barre work with low impact cardio and light weights. Class starts on a mat with a quick warm up and several mat routines that are designed to work your entire body. We move to the barre to sculpt our glutes, thighs, calves and abs. Class ends back on the mat for core work and cool down. This class is only 50 minutes and we use upbeat music to make your workout fun!

    • Yoga Foundations

      This is a all levels class that focuses on building a strong structural foundation to help you become the most complete yogi you can be. Strength, alignment and breathing all come together in this class to help to understand how to move and then allowing you the freedom to move better! Teacher: David Shropshire.

    • Functional Pilates

      This 30 minute mat class will help you gain core and overall strength while helping to increase flexibility and movement quality.

    • Bodyblast

      Bodyblast is a class for exercisers of all levels. This is a low-impact class that mixes mid- and high-intensity exercises using a weighted bar, plates, and your own body weight for a full-body workout. You will get the benefit of a cardio burn and strength training all in one workout.

    • Beginner Brickhaus

      This class will help prepare you for our Brickhaus class by helping you to build a strong structural foundation. This class focuses on mobility, proper form and use of equipment to get the most out of your Brickhaus experience!

    • Fit Flow

      Experience high intensity movement in a flowing class designed for the experienced yogi/yogini who has a strong practice. Students should be prepared for an hour of physically challenging poses. This class is a "Hot" class, practiced in a 90° to 95° room. PLEASE bring a towel and a water bottle. Feel free to add anything or make any suggestions.

    • Kettlebell Club

      Lead by Little Rock's ONLY StrongFirst Certified Kettlebell Instructor and one of our awesome trainers, Brad Hamilton. Burn 20 calories per minute for 30 minutes through the use of kettlebells!

    • Heated All Levels Yoga

      This class has a strong Baptiste influence. The physical aspects of Baptiste Yoga™ style are inspired by the Hatha Yoga teachings of Krishnamacharya and his students Iyengar and Desikachar. The class is high energy, playful, rigorous and empowering! 80-85 degrees. Teachers: Jamie Roberts. Meghan Thompson.

    • Recovery 101

      Recovery 101 is a all levels class to help put you back together after a tough week. We will incorporate the use of the foam roller, lacrosse ball and deep yoga stretches to help keep your muscles healthy and balanced.

      Back to the Basic's is a class using basic machine's on a circuit basis and combining with body weight exercises.

    • Powerhaus Yoga

      This is a hot class with the temp set to at least 95 degrees. Come prepared for a strong class that kick your butt!! Bring your A game and step into Powerhaus yoga!!!

    • TRX FIT

      Use of the TRX, along with Correct Body Position, Alignment and Basic TRX Movements. Emphasis will be on Range of Motion, Functional Movement and Strength, Balance and Stability, includes Stretching. This class is fun and invigorating! All Fitness Levels Welcome!

    • Sunday Deep Stretch

      Deep Stretch is a slow flowing, unheated class combining active and passive stretching to help target the places athletes need flexibility most to keep them healthy and at the top of their game.

    • Spin Fusion

      A fast paced ride (either choreographed or high intensity intervals) coupled with getting off the bike between songs and doing a 1 minute set of strength, weight, balance, or cardio moves. Zoning in on major muscle groups. Two classes in one. Major calorie burn!

    • Hot Power Yoga

      Experience high intensity movement in a flowing class designed for the experienced yogi/yogini who has a strong practice.       H.I.I.T. High Intensity Interval Training -- This workout is plateau proof because it stimulates different energy groups and muscles in each workout segment, changing the focus and activities every 4 minutes.       Hello. My name is Matt Carter. I was born in Pine Bluff and graduated from White Hall High School. I went to UALR and majored in Health Ed. I have been a fitness trainer for 20 years and have my NFPT certification.

    • Jessie Grobmyer

      Jessie holds a B. A. degree in Communications from the University of Arkansas. She received her training certification (CI-CPT) from the famed Cooper Institute in Dallas. Jessie is dedicated to helping everyone she works with reach their goals and live a healthy, happy and active lifestyle.

    • Jeff Walker

      Jeff is a co-owner of Clubhaus Fitness, handles sales and marketing, and is a certified personal trainer/group fitness instructor. Jeff has a Balance Body Certification to teach Pilates Reformer levels I, II, and III. His personal training certificate is Onnit Academy Foundations in Austin Texas. Jeff specializes in unconventional training techniques and his training philosophy is to "Listen, Teach, Correct and Build".

    • Rush Cornwell

      Rush is general manager and a co-owner of Clubhaus Little Rock, and a certified personal trainer. He likes to utilize macebells, indian clubs, bands, battle ropes, kettle bells, and body weight, as well as other equipment to help his clients attain a balanced overall fitness level. Rush is a graduate of U of Centrall Arkansas with a degree in Education, and was a school teacher before embarking on his fitness.carreer.

    • Jo Ann Camp

      Jo Ann has a B.S. in Health Science. She is a Lululemon Ambassador, yoga teacher and personal trainer. She holds the following certifications: 200 E-RYT;Triathlete Association (can train you for triathlons); Paddleboard Yoga; Mat Pilates.

    • Brad Hamilton

      Brad Hamilton has been a Personal Trainer for almost 10 years. Currently, and for nearly 7 years now, he holds the SFG Kettlebell Instructor Certification (formerly RKC), and is the FIRST (and still ONLY) person in central Arkansas to attain this advanced level certification. He has competed in many sports throughout his life, including (but not limited to) soccer, golf, basketball, and tennis. For the last 14 years, he has lovingly competed in the arena of fatherhood, which he believes should probably be an Olympic event... He also fancies himself a spider monkey trapped in a man's body. Brad has worked with people from all walks of life and capabilities ranging from post-rehab, "mom-athletes", all the way up to elite performers. He loves training people based on the philosophy that human beings are born with an innate grace and limitless movement capacity. He also believes in the natural way of eating and healing. Whatever your "sport", Brad can make you better.

      My name is Chris Cornwell. I was born and currently live in Maumelle. I have a bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health and Science from the University of Central Arkansas. I started working at Clubhaus Fitness in June 2013 at the opening of our Little Rock location. Since then I have progressed to the front desk manager, group fitness instructor, and personal trainer.

      David is the first and only personal trainer in the state to hold a certification in the MovNat system of natural movement. He is also a certified massage therapist with 9 years of experience in sports massage and injury recovery as well as a certified yoga teacher who studied under Matt and Holly Krepps. His unique approach to training allows for a better understanding of how and why certain movements and exercises work better to give you the most out of your workout, while helping you to stay safe and mobile. "Technique is not the absence of strength. it is the most efficient use of it".

      Certifications: AFAA certified personal trainer, Elite Tae Bo Jr. Master Trainer, Speedball Fitness Instructor, R.I.P.P.E.D Coach. I have been in the fitness industry for 17 yrs. Starting out as a fitness model for Met-Rx Nutrition I began my journey into the fitness industry. I found an interest in adventure racing and competed in two Eco-Challenge races, not placing, but finishing the 350 mile race across the Borneo rain forest and Fiji jungle was challenging enough!. My passion for fitness and having a competitive edge led me to teaching and training others. I have been fortunate to train with and learn from the best, as well as teach in the U.S., Germany, and Canada. I believe everyone has the ability to evolve and become stronger...faster...better! We just need that extra push! As an instructor I continue to further my education and learn new formats to share with others who are willing to learn and accept the challenge to be the best they can be!
